Paul Clarke

The Music Hall holds a special place in Paul’s heart, as a huge live performance fan, and living just around the corner for nine years, has visited the Music Hall around 50-60 times. He has seen rock bands, jazz bands, orchestra’s, pop groups, comedians and literally ‘living legends’. Gigs that stand out are Midge Ure, Glen Campbell’s last gig in Scotland before retirement, Emeli Sande, Thin Lizzy, Level 42 and Nicola Benedetti. Paul feels that probably the best sounding gig would be Nicola Benedetti’s; “as she plays with an orchestra and there is no amplification. You can literally hear a pin drop and the acoustics in the Music Hall really show how great a venue it is”.
